Pediatric Neurology is a subspecialty of pediatrics dealing with disorders of the nervous system.

The Division of Pediatric Neurology offers comprehensive neurology services for infants, children, and adolescents. We also take great pride in providing opportunities for medical students, residents, and fellows. Faculty members also lead major research efforts to broaden our knowledge of neurological disorders.

The Division of Pediatric Neurology at UF Health is distinguished for treating the largest pediatric population with intractable epilepsy in Florida and in the U.S. The pediatric epilepsy program provides leading-edge, comprehensive therapies for pediatric patients with epilepsy. It also houses one of the largest surgery and ketogenic diet treatment programs for epilepsy in the U.S. In addition, we offer comprehensive diagnosis and care for children with muscular dystrophy and other neuromuscular problems, learning and language disorders, sleep disorders and developmental delay.
