About me
Larry Patterson, MD, is board-certified in pediatrics and joined the UF department of pediatrics division of pediatric nephrology in 2018 as an associate professor. Dr. Patterson received his medical degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine followed by a pediatric residency at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Following his residency, he completed a fellowship in pediatric nephrology at the Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC, and then a research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, where he was received a National Research Service Award. He cares for children with chronic kidney disease and his research is targeted toward developmental biology, specifically renal development.
