About me
Daniel A. Rubin, MD, is an associate professor at the University of Florida College of Medicine in the department of community health and family medicine.
Dr. Rubin received his medical degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville, where he remained to complete his residency in family medicine. During his residency at UF, he served as the chief resident in the department of community health and family medicine. Additionally, he was a volunteer physician for the Equal Access Clinic Network, providing free health care services to underserved communities in Gainesville. He now practices at UF Health Family Medicine in Haile Plantation, where he serves as the assistant medical director.
Dr. Rubin has earned multiple awards and accolades over the years, including the Exemplary Teacher Award from the UF College of Medicine from 2008 until 2019 and the UF Excellence in Patient Satisfaction in 2018. He is a member of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
